Young
women today are facing multi-faceted life issues at an earlier
age than ever. It is imperative that they are given the opportunity
to learn the skills, develop the perspective and create mentoring
situations to deal with the questions, challenges and experiences
life is calling them to and through.
The
foundation experience is the Play With Purpose Team Experience
where we focus on giving each individual perspective and tools
to explore and understand their thoughts, feelings and behaviors
about various issues such as:
- The
role of fear in our lives, how it motivates us, and/or holds
us back.
- The
difference between 'real' and 'imagined' fears and how that
can deplete energy.
-
What 'change' is, and how we must learn to become adaptable
and flexible to make it in today's world.
-
Learning that we all 'talk to ourselves', and how we can maximize
our self-talk through simple, yet powerful neuro-linguistic
skills.
-
Exploring personal values, about their role in their world,
about friendship, relationships, and the team experience.
-
Creating their personal 'Purpose Statement', which is in sync
with their team/coach's values.
- What
commitment means, why it is important, how to make agreements
with yourself and with your team, and how to keep them.
Of
course, there is plenty of fun, laughs and snacks mixed in before
it ends with a high-energy team commitment experience.
